Cancer and its treatment can significantly impact strength, energy, movement, and overall quality of life. Our cancer rehabilitation service is designed to support you through treatment and recovery, helping you rebuild confidence, function, and physical wellbeing at your own pace.
Our oncology physiotherapist provides individualised, evidence-informed care tailored to your stage of treatment and recovery. Treatment may include gentle hands-on therapy, movement and stretching to improve mobility, lymphatic support techniques, education, and progressive strengthening exercises designed around your goals and energy levels. The focus is on helping you manage fatigue, reduce physical limitations, and safely rebuild strength and function over time.
Your first appointment includes a comprehensive assessment of your medical history, current symptoms, and physical capacity. From there, a personalised rehabilitation plan is created to support your recovery in a safe and structured way. Care is always guided by how you are feeling on the day, with ongoing adjustments to match your treatment phase and energy levels.
We also offer targeted exercise rehabilitation, Pilates-based classes, and supervised programmes to support strength, mobility, and confidence in movement during and after cancer treatment.
