Talia has nearly 20 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, beginning her career at Middlemore Hospital before progressing into private practice, where she has worked extensively across both local and international sporting environments. She holds postgraduate qualifications in traditional Chinese and Western acupuncture and integrates this with her physiotherapy practice to support pain management, recovery, and performance. She is also trained in cupping and clinical Pilates instruction, allowing for a well-rounded, movement-based approach to rehabilitation.
Talia has a strong clinical interest in sports and performance rehabilitation, as well as chronic pain, post-operative recovery, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. Her approach is holistic and practical, with a focus on identifying and addressing the multiple factors that contribute to injury and recovery.
Her experience in high-performance sport, including netball and elite CrossFit environments, has provided strong insight into load management, return-to-sport planning, and the demands placed on competitive athletes.
